Southern Belle Farm is a 330 acre working farm located at 1658 Turner Church Road, McDonough, GA 30252 and is about 1.5 hours south of Milton. When you drive there, it feels like it is in the middle of no where. I would suggest you have a full tank of gas as there are limited amounts of gas stations or places to eat along the way.
They do suggest you call ahead and make sure they day you go they have some rip to pick. 770.288.2582
There have a huge parking lot and they can fit many school buses and cars. After you park, you can get out and pay.
From their site: STRAWBERRY SEASON Our 7-acre berry patch is open during the spring and early summer season. If you are looking for a fun time on the farm, come out and pick strawberries straight from the patch. If you are looking for pre-picked berries come to our farm market during our peak season. We provide one gallon buckets for your picking. After picking the berries you may empty them into containers that you bring from home or you may keep the picking bucket for $1.00. You can bring that bucket back next time you pick.

It's a berry great weekend to visit the farm! U-pick strawberry fields are open and pre-picked strawberries are available in the Market. Jump on over to our activities area for some fun in the sun, and enjoy a homemade dessert from the Bakery while you're here!

There is a great country store here will lots of homemade items, food, water and sodas and nice clean bathrooms. They have plenty of covered picnic tables to eat at.

For field trips, there is also a station for each student to plant a lima bean to take home, see baby cows, view a cow being milk and learned some facts about it, learn about honey bees, and take a hay ride. We take our kindergartners here every year and they love it. They will each get a free ice cream.
