Marineland (Marineland, Florida)

miltonmomsatlantaa

We had a fun morning at Marineland feeding the dolpins.

The weather was over cast so we drove about 15 mins south from Hammock Beach to here.

They were sold out of many experiences as we bought tickets last minute, but we could pay to do the feed the dolphin experience. We got there a little early to look around at the tanks.

They have a large gift shop with a restroom.

We walked around the exhibits outside while we waited for our time.

They then meet you for your time and walk you over to Whitney Park where the dolphins are. My son wore his swim gear and I wore clothes that could get wet. They give you an open cubby to put all your jewelry, phones, anything shiney,(you can not take your own pictures) keys, etc, There are no lockers.

You then go in small groups and they take you to feed the dolphins. They go over the rules with you. The have a professional photographer there taking pictures and we ended up buying the package at the end. I am a sucker for pictures! It lasted about 20 mins and we got wet, but not soaked. We both loved doing this!

Other fun places in the area:
